The Introduction to 3Stars Franchise
3Stars have been in the retail business since 1969. 3Stars started out as an umbrella manufacturer and wholesaler. With the development of the retail business, 3Stars ventured into importing and manufacturing fast moving household and electrical products. Ever since, 3Stars establish business presence in almost all major heartland areas like Toa Payoh, Ang Mo Kio, Redhill etc.
From a single establishment to more than 20 retail shops supported by warehouses spanning over more than 100,000sqft of spaces. With such business infrastructure, 3Stars have been at the forefront of the retail business, supplying products to hundreds of major distributors and retail shops all over Singapore.
Today, 3Stars focuses on educating entrepreneurs on running this trade of business. And on top of that, 3Stars is dedicated to supplying innovative products to its franchisees and offers its franchisees in two different levels of offerings. The two levels of offerings are heartland shops and retail shops in shopping malls, depending on the interest of the potential franchisee.
With a huge and long business experience, 3Stars seeks to educate franchisees and provide them a business platform which is both low risk and promising a decent return on the investment vested.
The 3Stars Franchisees
3Stars franchisees are independent entrepreneurs who operate a 3Stars retail store through a contractual agreement. All stores are owned by 3Stars and 3Stars leases the site and the goods inside the store. The franchisee then takes over the management of the fully equipped and stocked store from 3Stars. 3Stars will look into the location and setup, while the franchisees focus in running the business (with 3Stars guidance)
The Franchise Process
- 3Stars buys or leases the site.
- Initial site development costs, which include renovations, fixtures and store equipment, are borne by the franchisee.
- Potential franchisee will invest an initial franchise set up fee. (3Stars will provide the sales projection and marketing support).
- The franchisee then takes over a fully stocked 3Stars store.
- To offer a sense of security in the event of a distressed business. 3Stars offers each franchisee a "buy-out option" where the franchisee will be able to return the whole business to 3Stars at an agreed "take-over" amount
The Financial Commitments
- The franchisee pays a one-time franchise fee to 3Stars (starting from as low as $10,000, depending on the store's location and potential of business).
- The franchisee will not be required to pay any initial working capital payment to 3Stars unlike other franchises.
- The franchisee shall finance the continuing operating expenses of the store.
- The franchisee will be responsible for ordering, inventory management, hiring and training, managing payroll, cash variations, supplies, certain repairs and maintenance and other in-store expenses.
